A Permanent Answer To The Problem Of Excess Hair Growth

12/23/2016
Nearly every adult suffers from unwanted hair. Although for years it was mostly women who went to salons to get rid of unwanted hair, these days many men are also choosing to have this treatment.

Even though there are quite a few ways to have hair removed, the results you get will vary and the method you choose will depend on how long these results last for. Shaving used to be the norm for women shaving their legs and underarms nearly every day. The reason this had to be done almost every day is that new hairs can start to appear again after a day or two, however, it is still a very popular way to get rid of unwanted hair.

Waxing is another method of hair removal that first appeared in salons, although it is now something that we can do at home as well. Because the results of waxing can last for up to six weeks, it is often the preferred choice for a lot of women. You can expect to pay up to £25 for half leg waxing although the price you pay will vary depending on the salon you use. At home waxing is very easy as there are wax strips available and there are also cartridge systems that require you to heat up the wax. Application with a cartridge system requires you to roll the cartridge over the hair and then pull the wax off the skin with a piece of material making sure to pull in the opposite direction to the hair growth.

We all know that the most effective method for removing hair is laser hair removal which may entail a few visits to ensure that every hair has been removed from an area. This is a particularly successful result for removing unwanted hair from anywhere on the face. The reason you may need more than one treatment is because your hair is never all at the same stage of growth. Because the process works through melanin in hair in order to get the energy to the base of the hair follicle, those with grey, white or blonde hair may not find it so effective.
